A founder focused on learning
Andrew Ng’s official biography identifies him as the founder of DeepLearning.AI and a co-founder of Coursera. His career also includes leading Google Brain and serving as Baidu’s chief scientist. Those roles connect three parts of the AI ecosystem: research, product development and education.
The product is a learning path
The interesting business question is how a learner moves from recognising a term to completing useful work. A course can explain retrieval or evaluation, but understanding becomes durable when a student builds something, encounters a failure and improves it. That makes sequencing, examples and feedback part of the product itself.
